Beautiful bottle of goodness

Posted on 11:33 by Roger
We had a busy, but awesome weekend!

We celebrated with David's family in Ft. Worth as his sister graduated law school.  We beamed with excitement knowing that David's brother and sister-in-law are expecting a little one this summer. We pigged out at this hole in the wall Italian restaurant.  It was so delicious.   We met up with my brother, Chris, and his family in Dallas.  Little B got to play with her cousins, which is always super fun to watch.  And to top it off we hung out with my friend Jess.  How I needed some good friend time!

And of course, during all of this, the Christmas season made it all extra special.  There were conversations about Santa coming down the chimney.  Beautifully wrapped Christmas presents were exchanged. And everyone seemed to smile a little more than usual.

We received so many wonderful gifts.  Some in the form of homemade food - always much appreciated by David's sweet tooth.  Others made us smile knowing how much fun we will have using them.  Many made us so grateful knowing that they are just what we need right this moment.  And others just took our breath away with their abundant generosity.

One such gift came in the form of a beautiful bottle of goodness.  I have always wanted a bottle of Jo Malone's Orange Blossom fragrance.  But it always seem too extravagant when compared with everything else on the want-to-buy list.
So imagine my surprise when I open my gift and there lies this beautiful bottle of goodness.  This stuff is like that good-hair-day-while-looking-amazing-in-your-jeans-feeling in a bottle.  When you spray it on, you just feel awesome.  Thank you, thank you, thank you to my dear friend, Jess.  You are my fairy godmother this Christmas season!
