Cranberry almond bread

Little B is fighting a bit of a cold today.  All the plans that we had for today have been exchanged for a lazy day at home listening to Christmas music and staying in our pajamas way later than we usually do.  And that is just fine by me as I have had an urge to bake all week. 

So today, I whipped out the baking dishes to make Cranberry Almond bread!  So good.

Very easy and it makes the house smell wonderful with the scents of orange, cranberry, cinnamon and nutmeg all whirled together.  And it makes just the perfect amount so that I could make 1 large loaf for us and a smaller one that I am going to take to my friend that just had her baby.

And while I baked, Little B played dress-up, putting on her finest accessories, mixing and matching to find the perfect combination.

So while today is not going as planned, it is still turning out to be a great day anyways.  What are yall up to today?
