The plot lines in this book are pretty scattered, but still enjoyable none the less. You must read the previous books for this one to make any sense.  I like how it is a bit more focused on Sookie than some of the previous books. But you can tell that the author is laying down the groundwork for future books.

It is crazy how addictive this series is.  The writing is just okay.  The characters are superficial.  But for some reason, it just works.  Once I get started with one of these books, they are so hard to put down.
