Austin's Hidden Literary Treasure

Posted on 13:39 by Roger
I am obsessed with books.  But we have limited space and an even more limited budget.  So running off to get the latest and greatest novel at Barnes and Noble or Amazon is not an option. But not all is lost!  Austin has a really amazing library system.

Can you believe that for no money  you can get a library card, access to millions of fabulous books and the chance to take them home and own them for three weeks? Plus, they have a great online database where you can hop online at any time, reserve the books you want, and select which library you want them sent to.  They then send you an email when they are ready for pickup.  It just does not it get any better than that.

And there is just something about walking into your neighborhood library that is so wonderful, like walking into your local, neighborhood coffee shop.  It is warm, friendly and the epitome of living simply.  I love it!

Below are a few books that I am reserving online today.  I can't wait!
