It is a rainy Tuesday here in Austin. And while we have one outing today to go meet up with a friend for lunch, the rest of the day will be spent at home with the steady pitter-patter of rain drops on the roof. Rainy days are wonderful that way. And with Hurricane Hermine, it looks liked we will have a stretch of rainy days this week.
Little B and I are perfectly content to snuggle into the warmth of our home, spending our days reading books, baking, staring out the window, and playing on the floor. We know that soon enough our lives will be busy again and so we enjoy these brief "life-is-set-to-pause" days.
